According to the Sun, the Celtics are targeting two new forwards, Ambrocino and Yamada Shin-chan, and Rogers hopes to find a replacement for Yukio Kobashi.

Italian U21 international Giuseppe Ambrocino may join on loan from Naples. At the same time, the deal to introduce Japanese forward Shin Yamada for 1.5 million pounds has also made progress.

Rodgers is also close to signing Belgian winger Balik Visa, while Nicholas Kuhn will join Cuomo for a transfer fee of 17 million pounds.

Rodgers said: "We lost some very important players. Guqiao Henwu left, and then Nicholas Kuhn might leave. We know we need to improve our strength, and I am very sure we will do this in the summer window."

Celtics have signed Tierney and Swedish striker Benjamin Nigren, who is worth 1.7 million pounds.

Young players Callum Osmander and Inamura Shizuo have joined, and Scottish goalkeeper Rose Duhan is also here.

But Rodgers will speed up the signing, with Ambrosino, Yamada Shin, Balik Visa and Vienna fast winger Isaac Yansong all on the signing list.

Italian reports say that Ambrocino is the target and the lease contract may include a buyout option. The Celtics are also interested in Kawasaki forward Shin Yamada and may close the deal this week.

This may leave Irish striker Johnny Kenny out of loan, but Rodgers hopes he renews his contract.
