Elche player Mark Aguado recently issued an official statement, firmly denied allegations circulating on social media about him harassing and threatening a woman.

Previously, several screenshots of Aguado's alleged conversation with a woman named Yolanda Mendoza were circulated on the Internet, involving inappropriate remarks. In response, Aguado said in a statement that the allegations were "completely false and unfounded."

He further explained that the circulating screenshots of conversations were derived from a false account that pretended to be the identity of the plaintiff Yolanda Mendoza, whose purpose was to maliciously attack and damage his reputation. Aguado confirmed that he had reported the case to the Spanish police on the matter, hoping to find out the truth as soon as possible and take legal action against the mastermind behind the scenes.
