White: Curry once encouraged me to shoot more, which made me a player who averaged 10 three-pointers per game
Today, Celtics player Derek White talked about Curry's encouragement to him while participating in the podcast "KICKS".
"Curry walked towards me and said, 'Wow, what are you doing recently? It's incredible. I respect your efforts and continue to shoot more'. I think, I must have done something right, right? I must have done something right. All of these things have turned me into a person who averages 10 three-pointers per game, and now I dare to shoot some crazy balls." White said.
Last season, White averaged 9.1 three-pointers per game, the highest in his career, with a shooting percentage of 38.4%. He once made 7 of 16 three-pointers in a game against the Warriors.
