An executive believes Kuming has added 125 million yuan in five years and believes he is higher than McDaniels cap
It has been almost one and a half months since the free market opened, and the tug-of-war between Kumingga and the Warriors continues.
According to the latest reports, Kumingga rejected the two-year $45 million contract and the second-year team option offered by the Warriors, and the Warriors closed the sign-first and then exchange negotiations after the Kings' offer (Monk + Lotto protected first-round pick) failed to reach the psychological price.
TA reporter Fred Katz invited some executives to bid for Kumingga at the end of last month. One of the executives liked Kumingga, who gave a 5-year, $125 million price and compared him with Timberwolves' McDaniels (signed in a 5-year, $131 million contract).
"McDaniels is doing well in his role. But Kumingga is more talented and has a higher ceiling if he can," the executive said.
