World Sports reported that Griezmann is one of the legendary players in the history of Atletico Madrid. The French striker is the club's all-time top scorer, and although he is no longer an integral part of Simeone's squad, he still helps the team with his contributions.

Griezmann from Macon has extended his contract until 2027. Although the outside world generally believes that this move is to share salary, he may leave the team next summer, but people around him said that he may fulfill this contract.

As a friend of the player and the general manager of the BY & FOR agency, Hector Fernandez revealed in an interview with Mediaset Infinity that Griezmann is enjoying his current time at Atletico Madrid.

"If we want to talk about that pure essence, Griezmann is like a child who longs to play football. To this day, he is still the boy who desires to play football, score goals, assist and celebrate, and loves to interact with his teammates on the field, all based on his personality and true self."

Fernandez further pointed out that Griezmann is very happy at Atletico Madrid and is not currently considering leaving.

"I see him happy and that makes me happy too. Every player wants to play as much as possible but he feels loved now and people are showing that emotion towards him and that makes him very happy."
