Tudor: Milan will target Robert Lewandowski in next summer window, hoping to further improve the team’s spirit

According to the Italian media "Turin Sports", Lewandowski is unlikely to join Milan in January, but Milan will accelerate the transfer related matters in June.
Capital City stated that in order to build a winning team, the experience of some players is an indispensable element. Milan discovered this in the winter window of the 19-20 season, when Ibrahimovic returned to the Rossoneri and the addition of Kjaer provided a benchmark for this locker room that is full of talent but lacks technical and charming leadership.
After five years, a similar situation occurred again. AC Milan has leaders like Allegri on the sidelines, who has high credibility among the players, management and circles outside Milanello; and on the court, there is a figure like Modric, who has rekindled the entire team atmosphere with his example, charisma and spirit. So much so that Milan hopes to exercise the annual contract renewal option, but the matter will be discussed again in the spring.
With Modric leading the way, other leaders such as Pulisic, Leo and Gabbia are growing, in addition to the stable Rabiot and the emerging Pavlovich. This means that to be competitive, you need not just a young team with potential, but also experienced veterans who know how to teach, lead and inspire their teammates to reach higher standards.
Because of this, in this context, Milan focuses on introducing Lewandowski next summer, believing that he is a suitable candidate to further enhance Milanello's winning spirit. Despite some rumors coming out of Spain in January, a deal would be close to impossible given the cost and player willingness. However, by June, there may be a turn for the better, but Lewandowski needs to meet Milan's financial requirements. In this regard, contact with Lewandowski's agent Zahavi is not accidental. Zahavi brought another of his clients Nkunku to Milan this summer.
In January, everything will revolve around the fate of Santiago Jimenez. Jimenez has struggled this season, still scoring zero goals in the league, while there are constant rumors linking him with a future move away from Milan. January is fast approaching, a time when clubs will give players' agents some guidelines and they can start looking out for other opportunities for players. Premier League clubs have already made some attempts, but in order for Jimenez to leave, two conditions need to be met: a direct buyout offer of at least 25 million euros, and the offer comes from his favorite club. If he doesn't leave, all discussions are hypothetical.
