There are reports that Bayern is preparing to introduce Waltermad this summer, and SPORT1's chief reporter Stefan Quinberg and guest Effenberg commented on this.

Waltermad made 33 appearances for Stuttgart last season and scored 17 goals. He has scored 6 goals in the European Youth Championship this summer, helping Germany U21 to reach the final of the European Youth Championship. His strength is beyond doubt, but Bayern has Kane in the center position and if Walter Mad joins Bayern, it may be just a substitute.

Stefan Quinberg believes that it would be more appropriate if Waltermad waits to join Bayern next summer. "I don't think Kane will play for more than four years at Bayern. So next summer, Kane will either leave Bayern or may have to reduce playing time. I think that situation is more ideal for Walter Mad."

Stefan Quinberg also talked about Bayern's winger signings: "I have made the first contact this spring, contacting the players. In some cases, more progress will be soon."

Effenberg also believes: "If Kane may leave within a year or two, then Bayern should definitely focus on signing Walter Mad."
