According to the official Twitter account of Club Brugge, Stankovic, a youngster who was loaned to Brugge in Belgium by Inter Milan this season, was elected the Belgian Player of the Month for October due to his outstanding performance.

After Stankovic arrived at Brugge, he quickly established himself in the team, won the trust of the coaching staff and teammates, and became a key figure in the core midfield position. Stankovic combines superb skills, strong aura and excellent court vision. These qualities conquered everyone and even earned him his first call-up to the Serbian senior national team. So far this season, Stankovic has played 18 times on behalf of Bruges and scored 1 goal.

In an interview with Club Brugge's official media, Stankovic expressed great joy at winning the award. He said: "This is a special honor for me. It is the result of daily hard training and the help of my teammates. I hope to continue along this path."

Inter Milan is paying close attention to Stankovic's growth and does not rule out recalling him next summer.
