Paris defeated Miami International 4-0 in the round of 16 of the Club World Cup. Coach Mascherano was interviewed and thoughts as soon as possible after the game.

He said bluntly: "The gap between the two teams is obvious, but I am extremely proud of the players' efforts throughout the tournament."

Facing an opponent who is far stronger than the American League team, he said: "The difference is that we try to show our abilities in every game, but the objective gap does exist. I am especially proud of the players' fighting spirit."
