Real Madrid officials announced today that Mbappe suffered from acute gastroenteritis and has been hospitalized for examination and treatment.

Marca pointed out that Mbappe has been feeling uncomfortable since training this Monday, when the game against Riyadh Crescent was less than 48 hours away. Since then, he has been isolated in a hotel room and initially only had to eat electrolyte water and fruit.
