Atletico Madrid official wrote: "In the Champions League match against San Giros, Lenorment left the game in the first half due to hyperextension of his left knee. In a new evaluation of the Spanish international on Wednesday, after additional examinations, he was diagnosed with severe damage to the posterior capsule and semimembranosus, but the ligaments and meniscus were intact."

"Lenorment will receive physiotherapy and rehabilitation starting today, and his recovery progress will determine when he can return to the game."
