Ass: Real Madrid s market value exceeds 6 billion euros, Barcelona is second, and the total value of La Liga clubs continues to grow
According to the "Ass", the latest report of LaLiga Stock Market 2025 pointed out that Real Madrid has become the first club in Spanish professional football history to have a market value of over 6 billion euros, reaching 6.1701 billion euros.
Barcelona, by comparison, is valued at €5.5619 billion as they are affected by the inability to play at the Spotify Camp Nou Stadium. The two clubs account for 64% of the total value of La Liga clubs, further widening the gap with the other 18 clubs.
If Atletico Madrid (its annual value-added rate is 23%), the total value of the three giants will reach 75%. With its international expansion and modernization of Wanda Metropolitan Stadium, Atletico Madrid has a valuation of 2.1076 billion euros, an increase of 1 billion euros from three years ago.
Intelligence 2P's research analyzed more than one hundred economic, sports, digital and social indicators, confirming the good economic situation of Spanish professional football. The total market value of La Liga clubs reached 18.4587 billion euros, a year-on-year increase of 6.1%, which is mainly attributed to the recovery of commercial revenue and the support of a number of modernization projects.
Sevilla's value has declined, falling from fourth to eighth, and is currently valued at 422 million euros. Athletic Bilbao (481 million euros) and Betis (472 million euros) ranked fourth and fifth respectively. Real Sociedad (463 million euros) and Valencia (444 million euros) followed closely with Villarreal ranked seventh with 338.6 million euros.
Girona is a highlight among mid-range teams, with its historic Champions League qualification and plans to build a new sports city increasing its market value by 29% to €143 million. Other clubs that performed well include Osasuna (€173 million), Celta (€169 million), Alaves (€167 million), Majorca (€159 million) and Espanyol (€155 million).
Excluding the three giants, the average market value of La Liga clubs was 232.9 million euros, a year-on-year increase of 3%. Clubs such as Getafe (129 million euros), Vallecano (83 million euros), Las Palmas (61 million euros), Leganes (52 million euros) and Valladolid (48 million euros) also remain stable.
