Barcelona's sports salary expenditures have once again exceeded their budget, rising from a budget of 510 million euros to 534 million euros. The budget for the new season is as high as 565 million euros. The main reason is due to player contract renewals, especially Yamal's contract.

A key issue in the financial report comes from Barcelona Production (formerly Barcelona Films). After its confirmation, its book valuation has been significantly reduced from 408 million euros to 178 million euros. Despite the shrinking assets, Barcelona still holds a 53% stake in the company and remains confident in its future potential. In addition, the departures of Roque and Lenglet brought an additional loss of nearly 30 million euros to the club.

However, there are also bright spots in the report. Revenue in the commercial area reached 473 million euros, exceeding budget by 27 million euros. The club's "golden hen" BLM (licensing and merchandise sales) business has performed strongly, with a turnover of 170 million euros and is expected to exceed the 200 million mark soon. The club has made it clear that it has no intention of selling any shares in the highly profitable company.

At the same time, the club confirmed that the new budget has covered the first interest payments for the Espai Barça project, and it is expected that returning to the Nou Camp between October and December this year will help reduce negative assets of up to 153 million euros.

However, Barcelona is optimistic about restoring the 1:1 financial rule before the end of the year.
