About playing for Chelsea
- I am very happy to play in the Premier League and play for Chelsea. The Premier League is very competitive and is the toughest league in the world and I'm delighted to be back here and adapting to this league. I think what's for sure is that when I went out on loan to Nottingham Forest I was 18 or 19, very young, and now I feel like I'm much better prepared for the Premier League.
About being able to communicate in multiple languages
- Being able to speak multiple languages is very important. This helps me communicate with my teammates in the dressing room and I speak French, English, Portuguese and Spanish. It's important to help each other, and sometimes I have to translate for Esteban. Like Esteban, I came here very young and I know how difficult it is to come to the Premier League at the age of 18 and I will try my best to help him.
About your relationship with other players
- We (Andre Santos, Joao Pedro and Esteban) are always inseparable, we go to the training ground together, go to the national team together and do a lot of things together. It’s important to go out into the game with that relationship.
About your adaptation process
- I think entering the Chelsea first team is a process, and my adaptation process is different from Esteban's. He came here from Brazil and now he's playing. My situation was different, I played at Nottingham Forest and Strasbourg and then came back here, it was a process.
About going to the national team
- When the national team calls, some players have to return to Brazil, some to Argentina, and some to Ecuador. This is not easy. It is our dream to play for our country. We train hard every day at Chelsea just to be selected for the national team. We must cherish these moments.
Regarding your best position
- This is indeed a difficult question to answer, because I played in the No. 6 position before, but the situation in the Premier League is slightly different. I can play the 6th position or the 8th position. The most important thing is to help the team, help the coach and my teammates. If the coach asks me to play No. 6, I will try my best. If the coach asks me to play No. 8, I will try my best.

- I am very happy to play with Caicedo, he is incredible. Since I came here, he has always encouraged me to train hard and keep improving. I did that, and now I'm happy to see him continue to improve as well. He is amazing and I am very happy to train and play with him.
About Strasbourg
- I am delighted to be the first player to return to the Chelsea first team after playing for Strasbourg. This season, Strasbourg has many excellent players, such as Mamadou Sarr, Mike Penders and Emerga. It is very important for us to have the support of both clubs.
When I was playing for Strasbourg, people from Chelsea were always sending me messages to check on me and tell me that I was doing well there. It's important to keep that connection to keep my confidence when I get back here.
