Dorth striker Adeyemi said in an interview with Spox that financial conditions are not the primary consideration for him when transferring.

Adeyemi said: "I came to Dortmund three years ago, although I might have received other more attractive offers at the time. But I had a great feeling here from the beginning because they gave me the opportunity and supported me, even in winter."

"It was never decisive to me no matter how much money I could make elsewhere, even if it was a big Italian club. It didn't fit my character if things didn't go well. So I consciously chose to stay and had no regrets. Instead, I'm happy now."
