Today is Abate’s 39th birthday, and his old club Milan sent him blessings.

Milan’s official social media posted Abate’s birthday poster with the text: “Have a wonderful day, Abate!”

Abate played as a right back in his playing career. He played 306 games for Milan with 3 goals and 21 assists. He won 1 Serie A championship and 2 Italian Super Cup championships with the team.

After retiring, Abate took up a coaching position and is currently the head coach of Juvestabia.
